Privacy policy
This policy explains how MSU Consults (“afrouae”, “we”) handles personal data on afrouae.store, in line with applicable UAE data protection law.
What we collect
- Sellers: business name, contact person, email, WhatsApp and phone numbers, location, social links, and the photos and descriptions you add.
- Buyers and visitors: the details you choose to send through enquiry, request or report forms (such as name, phone and message).
- Usage: anonymous counts of page views and contact taps, used to show sellers how their listings perform. We store a one-way coded version of the visitor’s connection rather than the IP address itself.
How we use it
- To run seller accounts, review listings and send sign-in codes and account emails.
- To pass your enquiry to the seller you contacted, or to match your request with sellers when you agree to it.
- To keep the website safe and to understand how it is used.
Sign-in codes
Sellers and team members sign in with a 6-digit code sent by email. Codes expire after 10 minutes and are stored only in a coded form.
Sharing
We don’t sell personal data. Seller contact details you choose to show are public on your listings. We share data only with service providers that help us run the website (such as hosting and email), or when the law requires it.
Keeping data
We keep seller data while the account is open and for a reasonable time afterwards. Usage statistics are deleted after about a year.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by messaging us on WhatsApp on +971 50 560 8801. Sellers can update most details themselves in their dashboard.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep sellers and team members signed in. We don’t use advertising cookies.
