Seller terms
These terms apply to businesses that list on afrouae.store, in addition to our terms of use.
1. Who can list
Businesses and individuals based in the UAE that offer African products or services, or serve the African community. You must be 18 or over and give accurate details when you apply.
2. Your responsibilities
- You hold any licence, registration or approval your business and products need in the UAE.
- Your photos, prices and descriptions are accurate and you have the right to use them.
- You reply to buyers promptly and honour what you agree with them.
- You handle your own orders, payments, delivery, refunds and customer service.
3. What you can’t list
Medicines and supplements that need approval, alcohol, tobacco and vaping products, weapons, counterfeit or replica goods, adult content, live animals, and anything illegal in the UAE or that needs a permit you don’t hold.
4. Review
Every application, every new listing and every change to a listing is reviewed by afrouae before it goes live. We may ask for changes, decline, pause or remove listings, and suspend accounts that break these terms or receive repeated reports.
5. Plans and promotions
- Free: 1 listing, live for 30 days.
- Seller plan: up to 10 listings for AED 49 / month, renewed automatically while the plan is active.
- Extra listings: AED 5 / month each.
- Promotions: Featured listings (AED 29 / week for products, AED 49 / week for services), Boost to top (AED 15), Homepage spotlight (AED 149 / week) and Instagram features (AED 199 / post).
Plans and promotions start once payment is confirmed and are not refundable once live. Prices may change; changes don’t affect a period you’ve already paid for.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of your photos and text. You allow afrouae to display them on the website and to use them to promote your listing and afrouae.store, including on Instagram.
7. Leaving
You can remove your listings at any time from your dashboard, or message us to close your account.
